Western Carolina University’s Dance Marathon will be held on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the University Center’s grand room. Students will gather to dance for 12 hours to fundraise for local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital in Greenville, S.C.

The event will include not only dancing, but a wide variety of activities with a chance to meet
miracle families from our local CMN hospital.

Meals will be provided for each dancer and awards will be given out to the teams with the highest morale.

“Dance Marathon is so much more than just dancing. It is a chance for me to be a part of something that I know changes lives every day,” said Darby Terrell, logistics coordinator for Dance Marathon.

For years, Western Carolina students have supported the
families at CMN hospitals by raising money to provide the essentials each child needs.

With dance marathon being a nationwide movement, Western Carolina is playing their role amongst other universities in helping create a positive impact for the children of the next generation.
