A native of Spartanburg, S.C., McGetrick brings a wealth of passion and golf knowledge to the position including collegiate coaching experience at Converse College.

Cullowhee, N.C. - The Cullowhee Valley School Parents/Teachers Association (PTA) is hosting its annual Fall Festival from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at Cullowhee Valley School.

The event aims to raise money for Cullowhee Valley School to be used for school projects and equipment purchases throughout the year. The proceeds last year helped purchase iPads for students to use in the school.

Greenville, N.C. – East Carolina racked up 688-yards of total offense including 413 through the air on a very efficient passing night for starting quarterback Philip Nelson as the Pirates handed NCAA FCS-member Western Carolina a 52-7 set-back Saturday night in the season-opener for both squads at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
