Andrew Berenfeld, junior English Education major at Western Carolina University, studied abroad in London during the summer of 2016.

In his sophomore year, Berenfeld remembers sitting in an English class and listening to a representative of the study abroad program talk about the exciting opportunities for students to learn in another country.

At first mention, Berenfeld was skeptical of studying abroad because he did not speak any other languages and felt it would be hard to learn in a foreign university with the language barrier.
